Supply of Single Leg Rope Sling with Soft Eye

Scope of Work
The company invites bids for the supply of the following items:-
* Item 001 Qty=1, Kit, Sling, rope, single leg with soft eye, BS 3481 part 2, polyester filament yarn, folded & sewn (becketed), 20 inch, loop ends, 200 mm wd, 5.5m, 6.4 ton (straight lift)
- Ends; loop with soft eye
- folded and sewn (becketed) generally
- Material to BS 348.1 part 2 or ASME B30.9
- Marking/identification and test certificate as per standard required,
- Imperial dimensions acceptable except for SWL (only in metric tonnes)
- Scope of inspection document required
- Pre-manufactured slings will not be acceptable.
* Item 002 Qty=1, Sling, rope, single leg with soft eye, BS 3481 part 2, polyester filament yarn, folded & sewn (becketed), 20 inch, loop ends, 250mm WD, 5.5m, 8 ton (straight lift)
- Ends; loop with soft eye
- folded and sewn (becketed) generally
- Material to BS 3481 part 2 or ASME B 30.9
- Marking/identification and test certificate as per standard required.
- Imperial dimensions acceptable except for SWL (only in metric tonnes)
- Scope of inspection document required
- Pre-manufactured slings will not be acceptable.
* Item 003 Qty=10, Tape, wrapping, black, 4 inch, 0.18 mm, 10 m protection system suitable for piping sttached to engines such as fuel, lube and hydraulic and other flammable oil pipes made of approved aluminum/glass cloth jacketing tape designed to prevent flammable spray of hot oil which can contact with oil surfaces thus causing fires in vessel engines rooms.
The tape shall have a superior adhesion for ease of installation on piping system and shall have the following specifications;
a) Temperature range: up to 150 degrees centigrade (302 degrees Fahrenheit)
b) Pressure: 300 psi (minimum)
c) Tensile strength: 90 lbs per inch (ASTM D882 or equivalent)
d) Adhesion to steel: 5 lbs per inch (ASTM -D3330)
e) Aging properties: indifinite shelf life when properly installed

* Item 005 Qty=5, chain, load rated, stud link, hook chain for mooring hoses, U2, 13.5 ton, 4 mtr., 28.6 mm.
The stud-link chain shall be consisting of 31 PCS common link, 2 PCS end link, 2 PCS. Enlarge link with pelican hook and stopper as per the following specifications:
- Materials: grade U2 (lloyds)
- Common link: 28.6 mmų
- End link: 34 mm
- Enlarged link: 31 mm
- Over-all length: 4 mtr.
- Safety working load (SWL): 13.5 tons
Coating/surface treatment:
1. hot-dipped galvanized in accordance with BS EN ISO 1461 (previously BS729) or ASTM A153, class B3.
Stamping:
1. Safe working load shall be stamped to individual items.
Certifications/inspection and testing:
1. The chain shall be certified by an internationally reputed maritime inspection agency, (EG. LR, ABS, BV, etc.)
2. Materials test certificate shall be provided along with the bid.
3. Drawing with materials specification are required along with the bid.
* Item 006 Qty=6, chain pulley, 1 ton, 4.6 m, block hand chain blocks.
- Range of lift: 4.6 meters
- Safe working load (SWL) : 1 ton
- Fully conforming to BS EN 13157:2004
- Certificate and marking required marked in metric tonnes only.
