Scope of Work
The company invites bids for the supply of Ethylene Glycol Monobutyle Ether (EGMBE) (20MT) for use in well stimulation and water injection wells.
* The Physical Properties are as follows:-
- Physical State: The material as received, shall be clear liquid, free from visible impurites.
- Specific Gravity: C.901 to 0.905 at 20 Deg./4 Deg.C.
- Boiling Point: 172 +/- 2 Deg. C at atm. pressure.
- Miscibility in Water: Shall be 100% iscible.
* The Chemical Properties are as follows:-
- Acidity as CH3 COOH % by Mass: 0.01 (maximum)
- Water Content, % by Mass.: 0.3 (maximum)
Analysis:
(1) Acidity as CH3 COOH is to be measured using standard sodium hydroxide (IN) in presence of phenolphthalene indicator.
(2) Water content is to be measured by Karl Fisher apparatus after standardization of Karl Ficher reagent or by distillation with D & S apparatus.
Packing:
EGMBE should be supplied in Manufacture's original packing.
Marking:
Each Drum should be marked clearly as given below:
a) Name of the product
b) Name of supplier/manufacturer
c) Date/month/year of manufacturer
d) Supply order no. and batch no.
e) Handly with care
f) Inflamable
Payment term: 100% payment to be released against supply and acceptance of the materials.
Note:-
1. Manufacture's test certifiate must be provided along with the supply.
2. Undertaking from supplier regarding quality of supplied materials must be provided along with the supply.
