Scope of Work
The company is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to design and carry out insitu soil remediation to clean-up the effects of the overflow caused from the oily water sewer system after the refinery received abnormally high rainfall.

The Contractor will be required:
- To plan and undertake the remediation insitu and,
- To provide all equipment and materials and,
- To develop and have approved by Orpic a monitoring plan sufficient to verify the overall performance of the remediation / clean-up.

The objectives of the soil remediation and clean-up will be to ensure that:
1. All regulatory requirements set by Ministry of Environment and Climate affairs are meet in full.
2. The soil remediation takes place insitu, no soils to be removed or new soil brought in to cover or replace any areas unless agreed by Orpic for operational reasons.
3. The final residual hydrocarbon concentration of all treated soil must be verified as less than 10,000 ppm total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) as per MECA regulation.
4. The visual appearance of the contaminated soil must be markedly reduced and where possible.
