Scope of Work
The company invites bids for the Hiring of Expert Service for Assessment of Valve Condition & Rectification Thereof.
The job can be broadly categorized in two parts namely a) Assessments of condition of valve b) deputation of service engineer for rectification of valve on as & when requirement basis :
* A. Assessment of condition of valve:
Conditions of valves installed at SV, IP, RT & DT all across the DBPL line to be assessed by following steps:-
i) Check the smoothness of valve during operation
ii) Carrying out seat test both before & after the sealant injection
iii) Flushing with cleaner suitable for the valve.
iv) Identifying the type of sealant required to be injected
v) Sealant Injection with hypregun/Hand gun depending upon the working pressure of the line
vi) Stem area injection vii) Gearbox lubrication & servicing to arrest minor issues
viii) Make the valve operation smooth
ix) Making the assessment regarding the condition of valve internals.
x) Submission of report indicating the condition of valves, activities carried out for each valve and also the list of valve which are beyond of on-line rectification.
All the valves installed in SV/IP/RT/DT may not be covered for the assessment job. The decisions of EIC will be final regarding the numbers of valve to be covered for this job
* B. Rectification of Valve
After completion of assessment jobs if any problem is observed for any individual valve, party will be asked to depute service engineer to rectify the same during entire contract period of 02 years.
