Scope of Work:
Dukhan field has thirteen crude oil tanks. Most of the crude tanks are between 28 to 60 years old, causing more maintenance and operational problems. Owing to the constraints in the existing crude storage, sludge handling and crude transfer pipeline system, a study is required to identify and evaluate different options for
- Construction of Crude storage tanks,
- Construction of sludge handling facilities and
- Installation of Main oil lines and crude transfer lines in Dukhan to acquire optimum arrangement of the system with respect to cost, flexibility, reliability and growth profiles.
The Feasibility and concept optimization study will identify and optimize the options available to QP for achieving the project objective, evaluate the techno-economic feasibility of each option such that the deliverables of the study will be sufficient to carry out the FEED.
