Scope of Work
The company invites bids for the supply of the following items:-

* Item 001 Qty= 50 NO, Spares for Pig & Pig Accessories:
- User Department: Pipe Line Service, Guwahati
- Guiding Disc for 355.6 MM (OD) BI DI Pig
- Drawing NO: OI/PL-3300
- Physical properties & specification Acceptance criteria Guiding Disc
- Shore Hardness (ASTM 02240 or DIN 53505):- 85A +/-5
- Specific Density- 1.18 to 1.25
- Tensile Strength (BS 903 part A2 or DIN 53504)- 50 MPa
- Elongation (BS 903 part A2)- 450%
- 100% Modulus (BS 903 part A2)- 4 Mpa
- 300% Modulus (BS 903 part A2)- 10 Mpa
- Tear Strength Nicked Angle (BS903 Part A3 or DIN 53515)- 40N/mm
- Abrasion Loss (DIN 53516 )- 35mm3 .
- Temperature range 0°C to 80°C and peak temperature upto 90°C for short duration.
i. All polyurethane discs shall be resistant to hydrocarbon after immersion in crude oil / gasoline for 7 days, permissible swelling should be maximum 5% by volume and the tensile strength should not reduce by more than 10%.
ii. All polyurethane disc supplied shall be manufactured from fresh lot of polyurethane.
iii. Shelf life of supplied polyurethane discs / pigs shall be minimum 2 years.
iv. Each disc shall have permanent marking giving information about pipeline nominal diameter and outside diameter of disc in a coated form.
