Scope of Work
The company intends to procure a PR firm to render services of Strategic Communications, Public Relations and Advertising. The company intends to hire the services of a PR Agency of a local or international Public Relations Agency to manage its Strategic Communication, Public Relations/Affairs and Advertising issues.

The scope of work for this PR Agency will include the following deliverables:-

I. Communication & Public Relations Strategy:
Develop an integrated Communication Strategy incorporating Media and Public Relations, Social Investment Initiatives and Advertising Strategy.

II. Thought Leadership and Event Management:
a) Develop strategies and identify opportunities for Thought Leadership that position KPC as an industry champion and expert in line with its Vision and Strategic Plan.
b) Offer Events Management support during pre-event and post event activities. Identify relevant events that the company can participate in and ensure it receives maximum coverage.
c) Organize panel discussions with KPC and its stakeholders on issues in the Oil and Gas industry.

III. Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Develop and execute a Stakeholder Relationship Management Methodology that identifies, maps, prioritizes and engages critical stakeholders whose interests, agendas and priorities intersect with those of KPC. Stakeholder management software in this regard will be a plus.

IV. Crisis Management:
Develop a proactive and reactive approach to media engagement and deal with any form of crisis as may arise.

V. Social Investment:
Support in designing a comprehensive Social Investment Strategy that inclusively identifies opportunities for creating value within host communities and offers sustainable channels for constructive engagement with KPC.

VI. Capacity Building:
Develop and conduct media training for KPC spokesperson/people and the Board of Directors on media handling and related issues. This shall guide ways of capacity enhancement to journalists reporting on the oil and gas industry.

VII. Media Relations:
a. Organize and facilitate strategic interviews on relevant media platforms such as print/TV, Radio and Online.
b. Prepare senior management for media interviews and serve as media spokesperson as necessary or as may be guided.
c. Educate and drive awareness amongst various publics on the role of KPC through integrated communication tactics.
d. Organize and facilitate for KPC’s spokesperson to meet editors and senior reporters to enable KPC build a strong rapport with various local and international media.
e. Run digital campaigns periodically to articulate KPC’s goals for each of its projects and respond to issues raised through various digital platforms relating to KPC.
f. Isolate and address any contentious issues that revolve around KPC operations; provide regular progress reports indicating activities implemented, their outcomes and the way forward for the organization.
