EPC for Simultaneous Transfer System

Scope of Work
The company invites bids for the design, supply, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handing over of a simultaneous product transfer delivery system to OMCs at Pump Station 10 [Nairobi Terminal] as an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) project.

The EPC Contractor shall furnish all architectural, landscape and engineering services complete set of drawings, bills of quantities and detailed specifications necessary to complete the project in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents.

From the approved drawings and detailed specifications the EPC Contractor shall furnish all labour, materials, equipment, services and transportation necessary for the complete construction of the project, including site works, structures, utilities and landscaping.

The main elements of the works shall include the following:-

i. Undertaking an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Study for the proposed site. The study must comply with the national and applicable international legislative provisions and principles. The study must also satisfy the requirements of NEMA (Kenya) leading to issuance of a NEMA license.
ii. Undertaking a Geotechnical Investigation (GIS) Study.
iii. Preparation and setting out of designated areas for the works.
iv. Fabrication of new product lines, a new manifold and tie-in to existing pipelines that transfer product to Oil Marketers in Nairobi.
v. Construction of pipe and valve supports.
vi. Supply, installation, test and commissioning of valves.
vii. Supply, installation, calibration, and commissioning of new custody transfer meters.
viii. Supply, install and set to work (configuration and integration) all instrumentation/control systems and electrical equipment at PS10 associated with simultaneous product transfers to shippers.
ix. Provision of corrosion protection system for the buried pipelines.
x. Non-Destructive Testing, Painting, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and landscaping of the works at PS10.
xi. Provision of Operating and Maintenance manuals for the use by KPC.
xii. Provision of equipment training, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), design-training. xiii. Survey to locate the existing services with an aim to relocate or protect.
xiv. Provision of ‘As-Built’ drawings.
xv. Power supply to all equipment from existing source in PS10.
