The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for Real-Time Water Cut Metering Services.
Water cut is a key measurement parameter for any well and knowledge of water cut is necessary for fiscal allocation, reservoir management, and well performance. In Dukhan Field, continuous and accurate water cut measurement is of paramount that governs the several important aspects in ensuring balance injection down to pattern level in the producing reservoirs. As production water cut increases, the need for more vigilant and accurate water cut measurement becomes essential. Real-time water-cut data can expedite the timely corrective action and reduce deferment. Near infra-red spectroscopy technology is developed to exploit the very characteristic attenuation of infra-red light by water as a means to measure the water-cut in mixtures of oil and water. The technology is a tested in several companies in the Middle East and proven as a cost effective methodology for real-time water cut monitoring that works for low GVF.
