Scope of Work:
Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPN), operator of the NNPC/MPN Joint Venture intends to award a contract for the surface preparation and paint coating of its offshore installations. The installations are located offshore Qua Iboe Terminal, Ibeno, in Akwa Ibom State. MPN therefore invites Tenders from suitably qualified and reputable companies with offshore coating experience to apply for pre-qualification for the subject project.
Successful contractors shall be required to provide coating maintenance (painting) and operate a suitable field maintenance vessel. Contractors shall also provide complete technical, management support and qualified personnel to operate the field maintenance vessel and vessel crane. The coating maintenance painting includes but
shall not be limited to the materials, equipment and personnel required to perform surface preparation and paint coating from water-line to helideck, in line with MPN coating standards and specifications, in a safe and workman-like manner. The contract shall be a lump sum contract but payments will be by milestones.
