Scope of Work
The company issues tender opportunity to interested and reputable contractors with suitable equipment and relevant experience for consideration to tender for the provision of Intelligent Pigging of AKPO Production Loops.
The Akpo three (3) Production loops require to be inspected by Intelligent pigging (IP) in order to assess the overall integrity of the pipelines and appraise the effectiveness of corrosion mitigation programs. Based on our assessment of the pipelines, the inspection is to be performed before the end of 2018. Each of the three subsea pipelines is over 11km in length with complex pipeline features such as Riser spools, Flex joints, Steel Catenary Risers (SCR), Carbon Steel Flow lines, Flow Line End Terminations (FLET), Production spools, Production manifolds and the Pigging loops. All tools to be used for the In-Line inspection (ILI) must be Bi-directional and the instrumented tools should also be capable of capturing both external and internal features on pipeline including the 27mm thickness sections.
Given the complex pipeline features, the prospective vendor is expected to provide a robust stuck pig contingency plan for the operation. The Scope of Work includes the pre-mobilization scope of preparations/engineering and the field operation/reporting scope.
The Preparation and Engineering scopes involves Intelligent Pigging tool specification based on pipeline physical and operational factors (design/operating pressure & temperature, pipe thicknesses, valves, bends, etc) confidence level of tools (precision in
capturing external and internal defects/features on the pipelines etc), and anticipated defects types and sizes (based on fluid, pipeline materials and operating condition).
