Scope of Work
The company announces its need for supply of key seat wiper for 8.1/2 inch hole
The Key Seat wiper should consist of a mandrel and matching sleeve with external itcoloy (sintered tungsten carbide) strips spirally ribbed so that uniformity could be achieved while reaming/clearing key seats.
The carbide coating should be finished in an aggressive style for faster cleaning operation.
a)The sleeve should be oversized and suitable for the drill collar specified.
b)The sleeve should remain engaged with the single/two jaw clutch during normal operation and should rotate with the drill pipe.
c)During stuck sleeve condition, a provision for an overriding clutch at upper end should be present which will produce a downward blow to assist in dislodging the sleeve.
d)The wiper should strictly adhere to the following specifications:
•Key seat wiper OD: 6.1/4 inch
•Hole size: 8.1/2 inch
•Drill collar OD: 6.1/2 inch
•UP connection: 4.1/2" API IF Box
•Down connection: 4" API IF Pin
•ID: 2.13/16 inch
•Total Length: 2.2 meter (maximum)
e)Threading and gauging of the rotary shouldered connection should be as per API-STD-7-1 (latest edition).
