Scope of Work
The company announces its need for lower kelly cock (nc-50) for 5 inches drill pipe (manufactured, tested and monogrammed as per api spec 7-1).
The instruments to be supplied are as follows: -
- Item 001 Qty=10 of Kelly cock, one piece construction with metal to metal seal, manufactured from AISI 4145 H modified alloy steel and heat treated to hardness 285-341 BHN and impact 47 J/cm2 with phosphatised connections conforming to API spec. 7.1 (latest
edition) and complete with operating wrench, disassembling tools, grease pin and thread protectors. Ball, seal operating knob are to be heat treated stainless steel. Working pressure: 10,000 psi (703.23 kg/cm2) Test Pressure: 15,000 psi (1054.85 kg/cm2)
Outside diameter: 6.5/8" (168.275 mm) Inside diameter: 2.13/16" (71.43mm) Length between shoulders: 16" (406.40mm) (minimum).
Connections: NC 50 (4.1/2" IF) RH Box up - Pin down Lower kelly cock NC-50 (4.1/2" IF) should have the following feature on the tool joints (box up x pin down):
a) API stress relief groove on pin end.
b) API bore back box.
c) All thread roots should be cold rolled.
- Item 002 Qty= 02 of lower kelly cock (nc-46) for 4.1/2 inches drill pipe (manufactured, tested and monogrammed as per api spec 7-1).Full Opening Safety Valve, one piece construction with metal to metal seal, manufactured from AISI 4145 H modified alloy steel and heat treated to hardness 285-341 BHN and impact 47 J/cm2 with phosphatised connections conforming to API spec. 7.1 (latest edition) and complete with operating wrench, disassembling tools, grease pin and thread protectors. Ball, seal operating knob are to be heat treated stainless steel. Working pressure: 10,000 psi (703.23 kg/cm2) Test Pressure: 15,000 psi(1054.85 kg/cm2).

Inside diameter: 2.13/16" (71.43mm).
Length between shoulders: 16" (406.40mm) (minimum).
Connections: NC 50 (4.1/2" IF) RH Box up - NC 46 (4" IF) RH Pin down Lower kelly cock NC-46(4" IF) should have the following feature on the tool joints (box up x pin down):
d) API stress relief groove on pin end.
e) API bore back box.
f) All thread roots should be cold rolled.
- Item 003 Qty= 10 of upper kelly cock (6.5/8" inches regular lh; manufactured, tested and monogrammed as per api spec 7-1) - ten numbers.
Upper Kelly Cock, one piece construction with metal to metal seal, manufactured from AISI 4145 H modified alloy steel and heat treated to 285-341 Brinell Hardness with impact strength of minimum 42 joules. The inside of the body should be chrome plated and connections phosphatised. The Kelly cock should conform to API spec. 7-1 latest edition and should be complete with operating wrench, disassembling tools, grease pin and thread protectors on both ends. The spherical plug should be chrome plated stainless steel. Working pressure (Minimum): 10,000 psi (703.06 kg/cm2)
Test Pressure: 15,000 psi (1054.604 kg/cm2)

Inside Diameter: 3.1/16" (77.787 mm), Minimum
