Scope of Work
The company announces its need for supply of pneumatically operated drill pipe spinner.

The instruments to be supplied are as follows: -

- Item 001 Qty=04 of 1. Pneumatically operated, chain type with right hand and left hand rotation.
2. The tool should be fitted with durable chain drive for handling 5 inch (127 mm)OD Drill Pipe and complete with air filter-regulatorlubricator, muffler, hanger assembly and 1.1/4 inch (31.75mm) OD, 29.52 ft(9m)long air hose with quick disconnection.
3. Item should be easily adjustable for handling pipe with minimum range of 3.1/2 inch (88.90 mm) to 5.1/2 inch (140 mm) OD. However, lower range up to 2.7/8" (70.03mm) will also be acceptable.
4. Item should be of compact design and lighter in weight so that it is easier to handle at rig floor by the crew.
5. Specifications for Drill Pipe Spinner:- (
a) Minimum Size Range (pipe OD):- 3.1/2 inch (88.90 mm) to 5.1/2 inch (73 mm to 140 mm. However, lower range up to 2.7/8" (70.03mm) will also be acceptable)
(b) Speed (with 5 inch drill pipe):- around 100 rpm
(c) Stall Torque (with 5 inch drill pipe):- minimum 1000 ft-lbs (1350 N-m)(d) Air pressure: - Minimum - 90 psi (6.3 kg/sq.cm.); maximum - 120 psi (8.5 kg/sq.cm)
(e) Air consumption: - around 240 cfm at 100 psi
(f) The Spinner Unit should be easy to handle with less sound generation (less than 60 dB).
