Scope of Work
The company announces its need to revamp and upgrade the existing Fibre Optic(FOC) backbone in interconnecting between NC -174 and NC-115 for the distance of 72 KM, and the other FOC between NC -115 covers a distance about 725 km along the 30” pipeline to Mellitah Complex.
The existing network is constructed of 29 nodes using SDH technology STM – 4 (1662 SMC) nods in 20 sites ,while the remaining 9 sites are linked through the Alcatel 1521FL-IP optical line terminals Provided with optical and Ethernet interfaces. In all sites SCADA and phone traffic is connected and transferred towards the main control site NC -174.
