Scope of Work
The company announces its need for supply Retainer Packer with Accessories.
- Item 001, QTY =10 of Packer, Retainer for 5.1/2",20-23PPF Csg.
Packer, Permanent/Retainer Production, similar to Baker Model`D' or `DA'
Packer as per the following requirement :
A) The packer shall be suitable for following duty conditions
i) Casing Size : 139.77 mm (5.1/2") OD x 29.82 - 34.3 Kg./m (20 - 23 PPF)
ii) Setting Depth : 5000 m (16404 ft.) Maximum
iii) Maximum working differential pressure: 528 Kg/Sq.Cm.(7,500 PSI) from both side.
iv) Maximum Temperature at setting depth : 135 Deg.C (275 Deg.F)
v) Service : Sweet.
B) The packer shall fulfill following dimensional parameters and material of constuction
i) Minimum ID of packer: 68.2752 mm (2.688")
ii) Material Grade : L-80, Type-I.
C) The packer shall have the following features
i) Seal bore extension will be required below the packer for sealing of long locator tube seal assembly (LTSA). Minimum length : 6 ft, Minimum ID same as packer ID.
ii) The body of packer must be slim & solid in construction for faster running in.
iii) It must have two opposed sets of full circle full - strength slips and one or more packing element for effective pack off when set.
iv) The Packer must have both Wireline and tubing setting features.
Please note that Baker E4 #20 pressure setting tool is available for wireline setting method. Therefore requisite adapter kit if required for setting the packer in conjunction with Baker tool must be supplied.
D) Each packer shall be provided with following accessories
i) Shear Release Stud
- Item 002, QTY=4 of Kit, Adapter, RNR Pkr, 5.5" Casing.
Adapter kit for Packers (G.I. No. 05181338 & 05181340)and setting tool to
suit Baker E4# 20 pressure setting tool.
- Item 003, QTY=10 of LOCATOR TUBING SEAL ASSEMBLY

Locator Tubing Seal Assembly (Long)to suit the Production Retainer Packer for 139.77 mm (5.1/2")OD x 29.82 - 34.3 kg/m (20 - 23 PPF) Casing, meeting the following requirements :
a) Minimum I.D. : 60.33 mm (2.375") smooth & continuous
b) Top End : VAMTOP BOX, 73 mm(2.7/8")OD,6.4 ppf tubing thread
c) Bottom End : Self orienting / Self indexing Mule Shoe.
d) Set of Seal Units : minimum 06 (six) Sets
e) Service : Sweet
f) Max. Differential Pressure from top and below :528 kg/sq.cm (7,500 PSI)
h) Maximum Temperature at setting depth : 135 Deg.C (275 Deg.F)
j) Material Grade: L-80, Type-I.
