Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective Suppliers and Contractors interested for Construction of Multi-Storey Carpark at West Bay.
In brief the Scope of Work covers; residual engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Handing Over of:
- 3B+G+7+PH concrete structure to accommodate approximately 900 car parking spaces including landscaped ground floor and roof/pent house for commercial space (shops, cafe, etc., without fit-out). Approximate quantities of concrete and steel are 40,000 cum and 7,000 Tons.
- Continuous ramp parking by specialist formwork subcontractor. - Fabric inspired aluminium mesh facade of 9,000M2 wraps around the building depicting curves and wave patterns with state of the art medial wall dynamic lighting system.
- Highly advanced multi-layer waterproofing system and injection hoses along with waterproofing admixtures for water-tightness. Thick raft foundation with latest cooling techniques (insulation, cooling pipes etc.) during concrete curing period.
- Dewatering and Time Lapse Camera currently operational, shall be taken over from the Enabling Contractor, to cover construction phase.
- Excavation is made to the bottom of 3rd basement foundation level (-14 m from the Road level at - 11.715 QNHD, further excavation (about 800 cum) with the blinding level shall be performed under this Contract. Contractor's Technical Qualification Requirements:,,
- Proven track record for a minimum of Eight (8Nos.) Multi story car park building including three (3Nos.) or more basements in coastal areas with water tight construction and having similar high quality and diversity requirements.
