Scope of Work
The company announces its need for Drainage, Sewage and STP Services in company's operational areas in North Kuwait.
The Services comprise provision of personnel, Vehicles, Equipment, materials and facilities to carry out drainage, sewage collection, transportation, disposal and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Services in the Company operational areas. The Contractor shall utilise its personnel, Vehicles and Equipment to perform the Services as directed by the Superintendent/ Superintendent’s representative(s) under the general supervision and guidance of the Company’s personnel. The Services shall include, but not limited to the following:
1.1.1 Supply, Operation, Maintenance and Monitoring of Sewage Treatment Plant – UmmAl-Aish
i) The Contractor shall perform the Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction,
Installation, Testing, Commissioning, Start-up, Stabilization, Operation,
Maintenance (Preventive, Corrective), all inclusive of spares, consumables,
chemicals, material, resources, tools & tackles, sampling & analysis, performance testing/ Compliance checking, monitoring, reporting and all other related Services of one (1) number new Sewage Treatment Plant at Umm Al-Aish (STP-UAA) to meet the performance requirements.
ii) The Contractor shall carry out the treatment of incoming sewage in the STPUAA.
iii) The Contractor shall perform preventive and corrective maintenance to achieve continuous operational availability of the STP-UAA.
iv) The Contractor shall carry out periodic inspection to verify performance
parameters and record sample analysis results along with service details like
sewage receipt by vacuum tankers, treated sewage discharge/disposal, Shift duty plan, personnel attendance log sheet, maintenance log sheet, emergency call log, etc. Such records shall be maintained for the STP-UAA.
v) The Contractor shall collect the samples of treated sewage at outlet of STP-UAA and carry out necessary analysis for performance testing/ compliance check and quality assurance on a periodical basis (minimum twice in a month) or as
instructed by the Superintendent of the Contract by a Third Party Laboratory duly approved by the Company.
