Scope of Work
The company announces its need for supply of complete horizontal between bearing centrifugal pump with diesel engine and base plate.
Rotating equipment requirement and condition
1) all necessary instrumentation such as vibration, pressure and temperature monitoring equipment (if required ) shall be supplied.
2) the Rotating equipment dossier which includes all inspection and testing results shall be supplied.
3) the Rotating equipment dossier which includes troubleshoot &maintenance manual and performance guarantee of the Rotating equipment shall be supplied.
4) Rotating equipment shall be suitable protected against corrosion and mechanical damage during shipment and storage.
OPERATION CONDITION OF PUMP
Medium handled : cooling tower water
Capacity : 3000 M³/hr
Total head : 60 M
Pumping temperature : 32°C
Sp.Gr @ P. T : 1
NPSHa : 7m
Pump speed : 975 rpm
REMARKS
1. 1-Pump shall be in continues service, heavy duty and easy maintaining .
2. 2-pump shall be manufactured completely according to API (610)Last Edition
between bearing BB1 type .
3. 3-Bearing shall be antifriction ball bearing, ring lubricated, water cooled with water specification.
4. 4-Pump shall be furnished with flexible Metastream coupling balanced between pump and motor.
5. 5-Non - sparking coupling guard
6. 6-Fabricated steel base plate
7. 7-Flange pump drains
8. 8-Coupling shall be removable without disturbing the other equipments
9. 9-Diesel engine power shall be 20% more than the rated power of the pump.
10-The pump NPSHa shall be more than NPSHr by suitable margin but not less than (1m)
11-easy maintaining and replace the seal and the bearings in the unit without
moving the pump to the shop or dismantling the drive motor assembly
12-Pump shall not need oil pump for lubricant
13meeting flange in scope of supply.
14-Material of pump shall be manufactured according to API 610 table Annex.
H1 material class (C6).
15-pump manufacturer should be of (U.S.A, Japan Canada , Austria , Italy ,
Switzlamd , France, Germany , Netherlands , or U K).
16-QA inspection and testing including but not limiting the following:
- -Shop inspection.
- -Performance test.
- -Material certification for casing, impeller and shaft.
- -Liquid penetrate for casing, casing cover & impeller.
- -Liquid penetrate inspection for casting and welding.
- -Subsurface examination for shaft by ULTRASONIC method.
- -Non witness test for NPSH and hydraulic test shall be done
17-Certificate of origin legalized by Iraqi embassy shall be submitted
18-Certificate of third party inspection by the following inspectors.
-Bureau VERITAS of France (B.V)
-Lloyd ?s register
-TÜV Rhineland group of Germany
