Calibrating Spherical Tanks and Installing of Radar Level Gauging System
Reference: 4 /2008 7/6/2020, Location: Middle East
Category: Calibrators, Electronic, Pneumatic

Scope of Work
The company announces its need for calibrating spherical tanks, supplying, installing and put into operation a Radar Level Tank Gauging system for that tanks on turn key basis.
2- Scope of works:
The bidder is required to submit the following scope of works :
2-1- Calibrating a tank from each one of the three groups according to the attached table and at the rate of /10 mm/ for each grade within the range / 0-80% / ( at least ) approved by specialized company in this field.
2-2- To prepare calibration tables which indicate the level /mm via volume/ liter.
2-3-Supplying ,Installing and putting into operation Radar level gauges for spherical gas tanks(LPG) .
2-4- Installing the required Hardware and software for data acquisition .
2-5- Supplying , installing and putting into operation temperature and pressure instruments relating to Radar level Tank Gauging system .
2-6- Erecting a control room for operators and another one for supervisor engineers .
2-7-All equipment and installations should be according to international standards (standards should be mentioned )

3-Level Gauge Specifications:
These specifications define the requirement of Radar Tank Gauging system (RTG) and Instruments.

3-1- The principle of level gauge should be radar suitable for spherical LPG tanks.
3-2-The possibility to measure the level from /60 cm/ from the bottom of the tank up to 80% of the total height of the tank at least.
3-3- Accuracy : ( ± 3) mm at least ( To accept the offer ).
3-4-The system should be equipped with UPS to insure un breakdown to whole system (field & control). At least (30 minute).
3-5-Explosive classification : (class 1, division 2, group D ).
3-6- The system should be provided by smart meters to measure temperature and pressure for every tanks , the meters should suit spherical gas tanks(LPG).
3-7- The radar device should be equipped with local digital indicator which will be installed near the bottom of the tank for all purposes of measuring ( level – pressure – temperature ) through readable illuminated screen.
3-8- All required and necessary accessories should be provided to install and put into operation the whole gauge system (stilling well, flanges(, ......
3-9- Ingress protection IP= 66 or better.
3-10- All field devices should be galvanic isolated .
3-11-The radar gauge should be checked from the control room and from the site.
3-12-The possibility of installing on pressurized tanks where the gauge should be equipped with isolating valve to separate and remove the device during maintenance
3-13-. -Accuracy should not be affected by the location of gauge. Or the precipitates resulting from product vapor condensation on the antenna surface
