Scope of Work
The company announces its need for Required Reparation Activities on Skirt of Delayed Coke Drums 11D1.2.3 and 4 (Unit 11) at Homs Refinery Co.
Description :
- Drums : Vertical insulated and lagged cylindrical drums made of 13CrMo44 carbon steel, internally X6CrAl13 (SA 240 Gr. 405), explosion bonded cladding with fixed semi-ellipsoidal dished head at top and a cone at bottom.
Object of the project :
To perform the activities ( repairs and replacements ) for skirt of delayed coke drums 11 D 1.2.3.4 according to the detailed inspection result that had been carried out on the above mentioned vessels by MASSA CONSULTING LT.D ( INSPECTION SERVICES) .
- For long term reliability the following activities are required :
• Skirt to shell welds
• Skirt cracks repair
The required works( four pressure vessels ) :
Skirt repair :
A. Skirt to shell welds :circumferential welding of skirt to shell should be excavated and rewelded.
B. skirt cracks repair : axial prominent cracking propagated from bottom edge of key hole slots toward skirt base metal should be repaired by segment or section replacement of skirt ( the defected sections should be replaced )
Items (A and B ) should be executed according to MASSA recommendations as described in attached repair package ( Pages from 1 to 8 ) ( skirt support cracking \ scope of work and repair techniques ).
