Scope of Work
The company announces its need for supply of Complete Horizontal Centrifugal Pumps with Electric Motor and Base Plate.
Complete horizontal centrifugal pumps with electric motor and base plate (As per articles 1, 2 & 3) Description of horizontal centrifugal Pumps
1) Pump shall be manufactured according to (API 610) latest edition.
2) Bearing should be antifriction ball bearing, ring lubricated type, water cooled with inlet water specification 3 bar 35 °C.
3) Flexible coupling (Metastream Coupling) with spacer between pump and motor dynamically balanced according to (API 610).
4) Non-sparking coupling guard.
5) Single mechanical seal according to (API 682).
6) Mechanical seal manufacturer: (John Crane, Eagle Burgmann or Flowserve).
1) 7) Pump centerline case-mounting, overhung, considering the following:
- Single stage pump is preferable. Yet, a two stage pump is acceptable.
- The total power of the pump, considering the designated safety factor (according to API 610), shall not exceed the total power of the driver (motor) in our tender.
8) Flange pump drains.
9) Fabricated steel base plate.
10) Three hard copies and one soft copy of standard documentation Including operation and maintenance manuals in English language shall be submitted for each pump.
11) Pump origin should be: (U.S.A. - Canada - South Korea - UK - Japan -
France - Germany - Finland - Austria - Switzerland )
12) Third party inspection (visual inspection) by one of the following inspectors:
- Bureau VERITAS of France (BV)
- Intertek Global
- TUV Rhineland Group of Germany
- SGS
- ATG
- RINA
- ALROOKL
13) QA inspection and testing including the following but not limited:
- Shop inspection.
- Performance test.
- Material certification for casing, impeller and shaft (mill certificate)
- Liquid penetrate for casing, casing cover & impeller.
- Liquid penetrate for inspection casing and welding.
- Subsurface examination for shaft by ULTRASONIC method.
- Non witness test for NPSH
- Hydraulic test shall be done.
