Scope of Work
The company announces its need for Specialized Services in Film Archive Scanning. The company has a large archive Film collection of 16MM and 35MM Films amounting to approximately 1,000 Reels of Films dating mainly from the late 1950S to the 1970S. There are an estimated 4,500 Minutes to be scanned in 2K/4K with sound synchronized HD Proxies. The collection is a valuable corporate asset and the primary objective of Digitization is to preserve the films and remove the threat of deterioration and loss. The contract is for the digitization, encoding, digital storage and physical asset management of selected historic film material with audio. A Comprehensive inventory is also required to determine what can be scanned and what is the best resource from the duplicate prints.
