Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for Upgrade F&G Detection System in Battery Rooms Workshop DKN.
The existing fire and gas systems installed in various buildings/facilities in Dukhan field are found inadequate and not comp liant with Philosophy for Fire & Safety. In addition, the application of the philosophy is not uniform across the field as highlighted by Process Safety & Loss Prevention team at Dukhan Operations in their different study reports. The non-compliance to QP corporate philosophy poses a serious threat to the safety of personnel and capital assets. Any incident may result in serious consequences as these facilities are located either within or in the vicinity of oil & gas processing & production facilities. The objective of the project is to enhance the safety of human and capital assets by upgrading the F&G Detection systems for Battery Rooms, Workshops, Security Guard rooms and Instrument Air Compressor Shelters at all Production Stations Facilities within Dukhan, ensuring compliance to QP Philosophy for Fire & Safety, Shell DEPs and relevant applicable International Engineering standards for Fire and Gas Systems.
