Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for EPIC for Fuel Gas Supply from Station V to RLPP.
Brief Scope of Work Description The Contractor shall perform the detailed engineering, procurement, installation, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation and start-up of the facility. The project scope is to provide all required new facilities and modification to existing facilities at Station V to supply Fuel Gas to RLPP. The project will be executed by two parties, QatarEnergy and RLPP, where the scope responsibility as the following: "
QatarEnergy: Provide the required facilities from Station V to tie-in point around 13 meter outside Station V fence "
RLPP: Provide the required facilities from the tie-in point outside Station V to RLPP ISBL
The scope to be executed by QatarEnergy includes the following: "
- New tie-ins from existing 36" P1 and P2 Manifold and new 36" future tie-in connections at respective P1 and P2 manifold "
- New 12" fuel gas piping from P1 and P2 manifold tie-ins and common 12" piping till barred tee "
- New permanent pig launcher at Station V, with appropriate safe venting and protection, as per QatarEnergy standards. "
- New pipeline from new pig launcher extending outside Station V fence, providing a pipeline tie-in connection point for the pipeline going to RLPP ",,New ultrasonic flowmeter for monitoring purpose
- Required ESDVs, MOVs and isolation valves "
- Vent, drain, instrument air tie-ins In addition, the scope of work includes the following optional and provisional scopes which will exercised by QatarEnergy if deemed necessary: The EPIC Contractor responsibility regarding the facilities commissioning split as the following: "
- Monitoring the preserved facilities and topping-up the Nitrogen when required "
- Demobilization after Mechanical Completion and remobilization before commencing the commissioning and gas-in activities. This will be exercised only if there is delays in gas-in activity from RLPP "
- Procuring the Line Pipes if RLPP reject to procure it as part of their scope The EPIC Contractor is responsible for preserving the facilities until it is ready for the Gas-in activity. For the Facilities and Pipeline commissioning and Start-up, EPIC Contractor responsibility are as the following: "
- EPIC Contractor is the main responsible for the commissioning and Start-up for the piping and associated equipment such as the ultrasonic flow meter all the way to pipeline (First Barred Tee) "
- EPIC Contractor to provide support for the Pipeline and Pig Launcher commissioning and Start-up which will be performed by RLPP Contractor
