Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for Provision of Directional Drilling (DD), Measurement While Drilling (MWD) & Logging While Drilling (LWD) Equipment & Services for Onshore & Offshore Operations.
As part of Onshore and Offshore Drilling program QatarEnergy requires integrated directional drilling services. Contractor shall be responsible for provision of all Mandatory directional drilling equipment and services including Directional Drilling (DD), Measurement While Drilling (MWD), Logging While Drilling (LWD) Services and Petrophysical Evaluations as per Scope of Services. Contractor shall provide all Contractor Personnel, supervision, equipment, Mandatory tools, services required as specified in the Contract and each and every item of expense necessary for the provision of DD/MWD/LWD Equipment and Services for Offshore and Onshore Wells on a Call-off basis. Except for Additional equipment at QatarEnergy's election, no waiting time due to equipment shortages shall be allowed. Whenever LWD/MWD/Steerable directional drilling equipment is required, a full back up set of equipment shall also be available at the Site. Contractor shall provide detailed description and technical specifications of the tools and equipment and their tolerance ratings in different conditions (such as temperature, pressure, tensile, torque, RPM, Gallons per Minute (GPM), DLS, material grades, connection specifications, dimension and make up torque, maximum dogleg severity for system, all shock/vibration/stick slip modes, allowable LCM system, etc.). Contract duration shall be sixty three (63) months including initial mobilization period of three (3) months, from the Effective Date of the Contract.
