Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for Upgrading of Fire Alarm System at Mesaieed Industrial City.
QatarEnergy has thirty-three (33) identical blocks / low-rise multi-story buildings for Junior Bachelor (JB) staff accommodation, each consisting of eight (8) flats, comprising of a total of two hundred sixty-four (264) flats in a compound at MIC. The scope of the Tender is to engineer, procure, supply and install addressable fire alarm systems as per Qatar Civil Defense (QCD), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards and QatarEnergy's specifications. The existing standalone heat detector system at these accommodation units shall be replaced with the addressable fire alarm systems, including Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP), initiating devices, notification appliances, interface module and auto-dialer system to be linked to QatarEnergy Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) located in MIC. In addition, Scope has the requirement to procure, supply and install firefighting portable equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire blankets at various locations in each block/building.
