Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for EPIC for Rectification of 33KV Overhead Lines in DCA.
Project Background and Objective: Dukhan Concession Area (DCA) has a total of 34 nos. 33kV overhead lines out of which 21 nos. are more than 20 years old and have almost outlived their service life. The deterioration in the 33kV overhead lines over the past few years have resulted in failures resulting in plant shutdowns. Some of the observed degradation and deterioration are associated with overhead line components such as fittings and accessories, tilting of steel poles, cracks on several poles and stay wire foundations, sagging of conductors, earth pit and earthing rod deterioration, corrosion of overhead line steel poles, tearing of conductors, damaged insulators, failures of cables termination, stay wire failures etc. Project Scope: EPIC SOW will comprise of dismantling and demolishing 21 OHL including foundations, out of which 13 OHL are to be replaced like-to-like OHL (32km) and 8 OHL with buried cables (42km).
