Marine Ecology Study & Modelling Services at MIC

Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors to carry out a study to evaluate and monitor MIC Marine Ecosystem from industrial discharges to sea. The impacts of industrial discharges are on seawater, sediment, fauna and flora of the MIC Marine Environment. Baseline data is required by collecting historical data and also sampling from different media as mentioned above. A valid and approved 3D model shall be used to predict the extents of pollutant/chemical in seawater. Based on collecte fauna and flora baseline data, the impact of identified chemicals on sensitive receptors shall be evaluated. The study should provide preventive, control, and mitigative measures to reduce the risks. In addition, the study should provide monitoring plan to be carried out by both industries and QatarEnergy to protect MIC marine environment.
