Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for Mangrove Plantation Program. The Scope of Services shall comprise of and be carried out in the following phases:
a) Phase 1 (Development of Mangrove Management and Plantation Plan): Contractor shall develop and submit a Mangrove Management and Plantation Plan, including site suitability assessment, mangrove seedling collection, planting methodology and nursery methodology for QatarEnergy's review and approval.
b) Phase 2 (Development of Mangrove Nursery): Contractor shall perform site preparation, construct and maintain mangrove nursery and hand over the constructed mangrove nursery to QatarEnergy at the end of the Contract without any additional cost to QatarEnergy.
c) Phase 3 (Mangrove Plantation): Contractor shall commence the plantation of mangrove seeds/saplings in accordance with the approved Mangrove Management and Plantation Plan upon completion of the construction of Mangrove Nursery. Contractor shall ensure the survival of minimum 50,000 mangrove trees in the designated QatarEnergy's concession areas.
d) Phase 4 (Mangrove Awareness Campaign, Monitoring and Evaluation): Contractor shall provide logistical support for QatarEnergy in carrying out mangrove awareness campaign. Contractor shall also start routine mangrove survival monitoring within three (3) months after planting and report the monitoring result to QatarEnergy.
