The company announces its need for LTPA for The Supply of Borger Spares. Borger pumps are lobe type pumps it is challenging to reverse engineer their spare parts Lobes are covered in rubber so a local casted or produced lobe profile is not an option The design of the mechanical seals on the pump One for each shaft is unique and does not correspond to any comparable seals made by other seals makers Hence genuine spares are required to meet the exact quality and pump performance Long Term Purchase Agreements LTPA are required to meet the critical requirements of field maintenance reduce reorder time expedite delivery schedules and further streamline and reduce the overall number of purchase orders with Bapco Upstream BU By awarding several LTPAs better pricing better deliveries and a more efficient procurement process can be secured Thus not only will the procurement process be streamlined but also ensure that BU will have the required equipment or spares at the required time
