Scope of Work
The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for Groundwater and H2S Assessment and Monitoring at Refinery Mesaieed.
The scope shall include the provisions of material, qualified skilled and unskilled labor, experienced and registered engineering professional - certified as per Qatar Engineering law, services, supervisions, testing devices, equipment, tools (including specialized tools/ equipment), materials, consumables, software, licenses, transportation, and each and every item and activity necessary for CONTRACTOR to carry out data collection, monitoring, site survey, installation of new monitoring wells, data verifications, interpretation, study, etc. as required for the following scopes:

PART 1: GROUNDWATER AND H2S MONITORING & STUDY AND INSTALLATION OF NEW H2S MONITORING WELLS AT REFINERY PERIMETER
1. Visual inspection of existing facilities to determine impact to the existing structures through groundwater data collection & monitoring at six (6) existing groundwater wells around Refinery, as referred to in Attachment No.3 to this Appendix A Part 1. In order to carry out such activities,

Contractor shall calibrate and maintain the existing datalogger at the existing wells, to allow online data transfer and ensure accuracy of the information obtained.
2. Develop underground H2S contour map. This activity will include data revalidation, update and new data collection at both existing 15 locations and at the additional 5 temporary wells, which locations to be determined during course of the CONTRACT.
PART 2: SOIL AND GROUNDWATER ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT AT UNIT-41, REFINERY Undertake Soil & Groundwater Environmental Site Assessment (SGW ESA) at active Unit 41 (U41). The SGW ESA study aims to identify and assess the Soil and Groundwater (SGW) risks associated with potential significant contamination that may contribute to ongoing Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Detector (H2S GD) activation events at U41. CONTRACTOR is required to propose and carryout a fit for purpose SGW ESA to enable the development of complete Conceptual Site Model (CSM) and the assessment of Sources - Pathway - Receptors (SPR) linkages at U41 and units within U41. Contractor shall provide a set of recommended actions to mitigate and/ or eliminate the intermittent (H2S GD) activation events at U41. If opted, the deliverables from Phase 2 shall include ESA report with detailed CSM, Assessment of Need of Remediation, and Remediation Option Appraisal (ROA).
