Scope of Work:
Occidental Libya Oil & Gas BV (Libyan Branch) (OLOG) intends to solicit interest and pre-qualify Contractors to provide competitive bids for the provision of Mud Logging Services in support of OLOG’s exploration program in the OLOG EPSA contract areas.

Anticipated Scope of Work
Location: OLOG EPSA Contract Areas
Estimated Spud Date: 1st quarter 2011
Number Of Wells: 20+ wells
Well Depth: 8-10,000 ft
Term of Contract – 2 years

Minimum Requirements for Mud Logging Services
The companies that will be considered qualified to receive the Invitation To Tender must be able to supply the following services in Libya:

- Mud Logging Unit:
. Must be skid mounted, capable of being fitted with an H2S monitoring system with a minimum of five (5) H2S monitors (Drill Floor, Cellar, Mud Logging Unit, Shale Shaker, Degasser). Unit to be fully air-conditioned, designed and constructed to accommodate all equipment necessary to provide standard formation evaluation & drilling and mud system monitoring. State of the art equipment capable of analyzing drill cuttings for lithology & detecting the presence of hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide (CO2), and hydrogen sulphide (H2S). The capability to make computer-generated logs while drilling. Computer software to assist the Wellsite geologist, as contained within Windows-related software packages.
. Unit must be capable of being fitted with LLE sensors as per above.
. Mud Logging contractor must be capable of providing a positive pressure unit if so requested by the company.
. Mud Loggers & Sample Catchers must be professional geologists or engineers with appropriate college degrees (Baccalaureate) and with least five (05) years (Mud Loggers) or two (02) years (Sample Catchers) of Mud Logging experience respectively.
